Zuk Z1 is a Lenovo-backed smartphone with Cyanogen OS, large battery and fingerprint scanner
Zuk a Chinese startup, backed by Lenovo and 360 (software company based in China, also known as Qihoo) is planning to launch a high-end smartphone dubbed Zuk Z1 with CyanogenOS in the second half of this year.
Zuk has reportedly accumulated $409 million in the venture from 360, indicating that the Cyanogen phone is serious business. Zuks's product portfolio include innovative gadgets including air fresheners, smart accessories and next generation routers. The collaboration with Lenovo and Cyanogen OS tips that Zuk will be bringing the Zuk Z1 to international market.
The specs of Zuk Z1 is still a mystery, however, the phone will feature a large battery and a finger print scanner apart from running Cyanogen OS out of the box.
Zuk will be giving some serious competition to its Chinese counterparts OnePlus and Xiaomi.
