The liquid metal Turing Phone goes up for pre-order on July 31st
Turing Robotic Industries aimn is to help indiviual and organizations create a trustworthy network in which communication and data are safe from hacking. The company's flagship dubbed Turing Phone boasts end-to-end encryption that makes communication more secure. It was initially announced in April
Turing phone is made out of metal which is tougher than steel. It is molded from a single unit of Liquidmorphium, which improves shock absorption and preventing screen breakage. The phone is also been certified IPx8 rating, making it waterproof and can be submerged under 30 feet of water.
Specwise, the Turing Phone features 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and is powered by 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor paired with 3GB DDR3 RAM. On-board storage is 16GB/ 64GB / 128GB and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Camerawise it features 13-megapixel rear camera with dual flash and 8-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS/GLONASS. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery. It has magnetic charging port instead of microUSB port and comes in four different colors.
The Turing Phone will be up for pre-order starting July 31. The base model 16GB will go for $610, while the 64GB and 128GB will cost $740 and $870 respectively. Customer's pre-ordering the Turing Phone will receive bonus accessories package which include a mobile Bluetooth keyboard, Bluetooth speaker, gaming Bluetooth headset and mobile gaming controller.
