Asus ZenFone 2 Laser launched in India, prices start at Rs. 9,999

At ZenFestival 2015, Asus has launched another camera-centric smartphone, the ZenFone 2 Laser in India. It comes in two screen variants 5.5-inch and 6-inch.

Asus ZenFone 2 sports 13-megapixel rear camera with Toshiba BSI sensor, dual-tone LED flash, Largan 5-elements lens and f/2.0 aperture. The main highlight is the Laser Auto Focus and is loaded with ASUS PixelMaster 2.0 camera technology. On the front there is a 5-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens for taking selfies and making video calls.

Asus ZenFone 2 Laser features 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It comes in two variants- Snapdragon 410 processor paired with Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB RAM and Snapdragon 615 processor. with 3GB RAM.  On-board storage is 16GB, further expandable via microSD card. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI 2.0 on top and has dual-SIM slot. On the connectivity front 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS are supported. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery and comes in Pure Black, Ceramic White or Glamour Red flavors.

There is also a 6-inch display model that has dual-SIM slot and 4G LTE connectivity. The full specs will be revealed in the coming days.

Asus ZenFone 2 Laser 5.5 (ZE550KL) 2GB RAM/SD 410 and 3GB RAM/SD 615 variants are priced at Rs. 9,999 and 13,999 respectively.  The Asus ZenFone Laser 6 (ZE601KL) is priced at Rs. 17,999.
