This is how Apple flip phones will look like [Concept]

Martin Hajek who is known for visualizing future gadgets in 3D has left little to the imagination with some superb 3D renders of how Apple's flip phone for the Japanese market will look like. He describes it as a 'Fun Project'.

Japanese are still in love with the old-school flip phones for factor, this is why Martin Hajek created this concept that fuses Apple's software on a clamshell body.

"Over in Japan people are still crazy for these so-called ‘garakei’ phones; the huge flipphones which have been around for ages. Despite the iPhone’s huge popularity in Japan the Japanese just can’t get enough of these mobile monstrosities. Presenting the garakeiPhone! Probably too difficult to engineer but still – a fun project to do … and hopefully see. :-)"

The Apple flip phone is shown with three multi-touch display, one on the outside of the device that alerts users of incoming notifications, calls, texts, etc. There is no physical keyboard, but it would have an input screen which displays the virtual keyboard, emoticons and any other mechanism that the OS presents. The Home button is placed above it and there is one on the outside too. The main display shows context and details such as messaging, e-mail conversation and apps. The bottom rear corner of the Apple flip phone would feature a laynard detail to allow the device to be hung or worn around the neck. It will be available in Gold, Space Gray and the newly introduced rose gold flavors.

Note that this is a visual concept and not an actual phone. To see more images hit the source link. So anyone interested?
