Asus ZenWatch 2 pricing and availability details revealed at IFA 2015, starts at 149 Euros, coming in October

Asus ZenWatch 2, the successor to the ZenWatch was announced at Computex 2015 in June this year. At IFA 2015, the company officially launched the ZenWatch 2 in two different size models and revealed the pricing and availability details.

Asus ZenWatch 2 comes in two different sizes - 49mm with 1.6-inch display and 45mm with 1.45-inch display, with both sporting an AMOLED display with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3. They are powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB storage. The larger ZenWatch 2 model is fueled by 400mAh battery which offers 2.5 days of life in ambient mode whereas the smaller one have 300mAh battery and can survive 2 days in ambient mode. The charging is done via magnetic connector and can charge up to 50 percent in just 36 minutes. They are IP67 certified for water resistance and runs Android Wear.

ZenWatch 2 comes with Business Helper and FoneHelper. Business Helper is a suite of features to assist users with business related tasks such as checking their agendas, managing email and viewing call logs. The FoneHelper includes a collection of features including Quick Settings, Cover to Mute, Unlock My Phone and Forgot Phone warning designed to provide more convenient and enjoyable smartphone experience.

The stainless steel case of both the ZenWatch 2 models comes in Silver, Gunmetal and Rose-Gold colors. The rubber strap comes in Blue, Orange, Red and Taupe colors. There is also a soft, premium leather strap that is available in Khaki, Brown, Gray, Blue and Orange.

Asus ZenWatch 2 45mm model is priced at 149 Euros (Rs. 11,000) and the 49mm model cost 169 Euros (Rs. 12,500) and will be available in October.
