Gionee Pioneer P3S with Android 5.1 Lollipop launched for Rs. 5,999

Gionee has launched Pioneer P3S, an entry level smartphone in India. The phone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 custom user interface on top and has support for dual-SIM.

Gionee Pioneer P3S features 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display and is equipped with 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB.

There is a 5-megapixel auto-focus camera on the rear and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera. It includes features such as Face beauty to enhance the selfie shots alongside the continuous shots and panorama modes.

On the connectivity front it supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The device is fueled by 2000mAh battery. It comes with an 'Extreme Mode' which enables the last 10 percent of battery power to potentially last for some more time.

The Gionee Pioneer P3S is priced at Rs. 5,999 and will go on sale in the coming days. It comes in White, Grey, Red and Golden colors.
