Lenovo IdeaPad Y700 gaming laptop launched in India for Rs. 1,25,000



At Lenovo India Gaming Week in Mumbai, India the company launched the IdeaPad Y700 gaming laptop. The laptop is a part of the new Y series of gaming themed PC and notebook that was introduced at IFA tradeshow earlier this month.

 The Lenovo IdeaPad Y700 sports a 17.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and is equipped with the latest 6th-gen Intel Core i7 quad-core CPU with Skylake architecture. It can be configured with upto 16GB RAM and offers 1TB of HDD storage and 128GB of SSD for faster OS boot and app loading types. The graphics is handled by NVIDIA GTX 960M with 4G DDR5 dedicated graphic memory. It runs Windows 10.

 IdeaPad Y700 comes in black and red hues and the 4-cell 60WHr battery offers four hours of battery life. For connectivity there is DC-in, two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, HDMI, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth and multi-format card reader. The laptop comes loaded with dual 2.0W chambered JBL speaker, aided by 3.0W sub-woofer and Dolby Home Theatre support to create an ideal gaming environment. It also has Red LED backlit keyboard with brightness control.

 The Lenovo IdeaPad Y700 carries the price tag of Rs. 1,25,000 and the pre-orders will start on October 1 on Lenovo India website.

 Lenovo also launched new gaming accessories- Y Gaming Surround Sound Headset priced at Rs. 5,070, the Y Gaming Precision Mouse at Rs. 3,770, the Y Gaming Mechanical Switch Keyboard at Rs. 8,000, the Y Gaming Backpack at Rs. 8,000, and the Y Gaming Mouse Mat at Rs. 715. 

 Lenovo says it will offer free accessories such as a gaming surround sound headset, gaming precision mouse and a gaming mouse all totalling worth Rs 9,555 free for the first 30 pre-orders.
