Meet GooPhone I6s, the iPhone 6s clone running Android
When a high-end device is launched, the Chinese phone manufacturer are ready to immediately rip-off the device and create a clone at a much lower price. The latest victim is iPhone 6s.
GooPhone, known for making cheap clones of well-know smartphones has created a clone of iPhone 6s, the GooPhone I6s. While, the phone looks like the iPhone they do not come with Apple's chipset and iOS.
The GooPhone I6s is an Android device and sports 4.7-inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels screen resolution. Inside there is a 1.7GHz MediaTek MTK6592 octa-core SoC with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. It runs Android 4.2 Jellybean with iOS 9 theme.
For imaging there is 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front shooter. As for connectivity, it supports 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. It is fueled by a 1800mAh battery and comes in White, Black and Gold colors. The device measures 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6mm and weighs 123g.
The GooPhone I6s is priced at $199 (Rs. 13,000), that's three times less than the iPhone 6s.
