LG made Nexus will be a 'sub-flagship level' phone, specs get detailed


Recently, insiders revealed information regarding LG's upcoming Nexus phone. Even though the device has no official name, the specs of the phone was out. Now a new leak has tipped the specs of the LG made Nexus phone.

According to sources from Android Police, LG made Nexus will be a 'sub-flagship level' smartphone. In line with what we have hear before, LG Nexus 5 2015 will have 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, Snapdragon 808 SoC, Adreno 418 GPU and 3G RAM. There will be two storage models, 16GB and 32GB, with no storage expansion option. For imaging the phone will sport 12.3-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel selfie shooter. It will be backed by 2700mAh battery.

The LG made Nexus is said to house a USB Type-C port (although it is unclear if it is a full-blown USB3.0 device). The addition of USB Type-C support is not surprising because Nexus devices are platform lead devices sand the LG made Nexus likely to ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow which supports USB Type-C.

The phone will come in three color options. Aside from the generic black and white, fans will also have an option for a blue Nexus 5.

The new leak also suggests that LG made Nexus smartphone will launch late September.
