Micromax launches Canvas Blaze 4G, Canvas Fire 4G and Canvas Play 4G
Micromax has launched three new budget 4G smartphones in India- Canvas Blaze 4G, Canvas Fire 4G and Canvas Play 4G. The Canvas Fire 4G was announced earlier this month at a MediaTek event and is the company's first smartphone to be equipped with MediaTek SoC.
All three smartphones run Android 5.1 Lollipop, has dual-SIM slot and microSD card slot (up to 32GB cards accepted), and apart from 4G LTE, supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. In addition all three smartphone's have support for 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India.
Indiviually, Micromax Canvas Blaze 4G features 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display and is equipped with 1.1GHz Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor with Adreno 304 GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB expandable storage. There is 5-megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash on the back and 2-megapixel front shooter. It is fueled by 2000mAh battery.
Micromax Canvas Fire 4G features include 4.5-invh (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display, 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB RAM, 8GB expandable storage. Camerawise, there is 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and on the front a 2-megapixel camera. It is backed by 1850mAh battery.
Lastly, Micromax Canvas Play 4G features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is equipped with Snapdragon 410 processor clubbed with 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, further expandable via microSD card. For imaging, there is 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. It is fueled by 2820mAh battery.
The Micromax Canvas Blaze 4G and Canvas Fire 4G are priced at Rs. 6,999 and the Micromax Canvas Play 4G costs 12,499. They will be available via major e-commerce portals and brick-and-mortar stores across the country. These smartphones comes with double 4G data offer for Airtel subscribers for 6 months.
