Phicomm Passion 660 gets Rs. 2,000 price cut, now available for Rs. 8,999


China based Phicomm entered the Indian market back in June with the launch of Passion 660 for Rs. 10,999. Now the company has announced a price cut of Rs. 2,000 on the phone. Now the Passion 660 will be available for Rs. 8,999 on Amazon India.

“Phicomm Passion 660 has seen a huge success in India since its launch in June 2015. This spec-rich phone which was already available at a consumer friendly amount has its price slashed by INR 2,000 which makes the buy even more enticing. It is a versatile and easy to use smartphone based on a Qualcomm Reference Design by Qualcomm Technologies Inc,”the company stated in a press release.

Phicomm Passion 660 has a unibody premium magenesium alloy build. It features 5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and is equipped with 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC with Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB inuilt-storage. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Expect OS 5.0 on top and comes with Hybrid dual-SIM (second nano SIM slot accepts microSD card). For imaging there is 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Sony IMX214 sensor, while on the front there is 5-megapixel selfie camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2300mAh battery.

The Phicomm Passion P660 will now compete with Yu Yureka Plus, Lenovo K3 Note and other phones in the similar price range.
