Qualcomm clocks new milestones with Snapdragon 410, 210 SoC shipments


Leading mobile chipset maker Qualcomm announced new milestones for it Snapdragon 410 and 210 processor. Since the launch of Snapdragon 410, the processor is now available in more than 550 mobile device designs while the Snapdragon 210 processor is available in more than 200 designs. Both processors have been designed to provide the most value to developing regions.

Snapdragon 400 which brought 64-bit computing power and LTE connectivity to emerging regions has shipped more than 200 million units globally from more than 60 OEMs. The Snapdragon 210 is the first commercial processor to deliver 4G LTE connectivity to developing regions while the Snapdragon 410 is the first commercial mobile processor to provide 64-bit computing to the sub $150 price point.


Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 (5), ZTE A460, Huawei Bee 4G, Huawei Honor 4A are some of the mobile devices that runs Snapdragon 210 processor while the Motorola Mot G, Asus ZenFone 2 (ZE550KL), HTC Desire 510, HTC Desire 626, Samsung Galaxy Mega 2, Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Blue Life ships with Snapdragon 410 SoC. More devices equipped with these processor are expected to be announced in the coming weeks and months.
