Samsung India lists Galaxy Core Prime VE on its eStore for Rs. 8,600

Samsung has quietly launched Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE SM-G361 in India. The smartphone is listed on company’s official eStore for Rs. 8,600. It has a matte body finish with metal sides.

Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE features 4.5-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) PLS (plane-on-line-switiching) TFT display and is equipped with 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. For imaging there is 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front camera. 

The dual-SIM phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is fueled by 2000mAh battery and comes with Ultra Power Saving Mode which offers 12 days of standby time om 10% battery.

Although the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE has been listed on company eStore, it’s still not available for purchase. Samsung is offering a Notify Me option for interested buyers.
