ZTE unveils the Axon Elite, the global version of the Axon

The ZTE Axo Pro was launched in the U.S back in July, followed by China. Now at IFA 2015 in Berlin the Chinese company has introduced Axon Elite, the global version of Axon Pro. The Axon Elite comes with biometric authentication methods such as fingerprint, voice and eye scanning sensors

The ZTE Axon Elite features 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) CGS TFT LCD 2.5D curved display with Corning Antimicrobial Gorilla Glass protection. Inside there is an octa-core Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor paired with Adreno 430 GPU and 3G RAM. On-board storage capacity is 32GB, further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with MiFavor 3.2 on top. 

Camerawise, there are two camera units on the rear, 13-megapixel with dual LED flash + 2-megapixel camera. On the front there is 8-megapixel shooter with 88-degree wide-angle lens and records 1080p videos. The dual SIM phone supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/c, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery, has a dedicated AKM 4961 Hi-Fi audio chip and comes in Ion Gold color.

The ZTE Axon Lite will first be available in France, Germany, Italy, Spain an the United Kingdon on September 24 at a price of 420 EUR via eBay, followed by launches in Turkey, Mexico, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Russia and Philippines.
