Blu Studio Energy 2, Energy X packs massive batteries


US based smartphone maker BLU has added two new smartphones to its portfolio-  Studio Energy 2 and Energy X. Both the smartphones offers long battery life.

The Blu Studio Energy 2 packs a 5000mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 3 days of standard usage and 20 days of Standby time. The Energy X has a 4000mAh battery rated to deliver up to 3 days of standard use and over 30 days of standby time. Both the smartphones run Android Lollipop and has dual-SIM and microSD card slots.

Individually, Blu Studio Energy 2 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is equipped with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with Mali- T720 GPU, 1.5GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt expandable storage. For imaging, there is 8-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. It supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity.


Blu Energy X features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside there is an 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT67580 processor with Mali- T400 GPU and 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB and supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity (no 4G LTE). There is 8-megapixel shooter on the back with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera.

Blu Studio Energy 2 is priced at $179 and comes in Midnight Grey and Ceramic White w/ Rose Gold. The Blu Energy X costs $108 and is available in Midnight Grey and Luxury Gold colors. Both are available for purchase at Amazon US.
