HP's updated Stream notebooks offer slim design and better battery life


HP announced an updated Stream 11 and Stream 13 notebooks, which offers improved specs set, vibrant new colors, thinner lightweight designs, longer battery life and runs Windows 10.

The HP Stream 11 and Stream 13 offers 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch HD (1366 x 768) display. HP will also offer an optional touchscreen for the Stream 13. Both are equipped with Intel Celeron N3050 dual-core Braswell processors, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of eMMC storage. They include a USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and HDMI port along with a microSD card reader. The Stream 13 comes with two USB 2.0 ports. There is also a HP TrueVision HD webcam.

HP Stream 11 weighs 2.6 pounds, measures 0.7-inches thick, offers battery life of up to 10.5 hours and comes in Cobalt Blue, Violet Purple and Ash Silver. exteriors The Stream 13 meausres 0.8-inch thick, weighs 3.42 pounds and delivers up to 8.5 hours of battery life. It comes with either Cobalt Blue or Violet Purple exteriors.

HP also announced a new Stream 11 Pro G2 notebook aimed at the education market. It comes with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage.

All the newly announced Stream line of notebooks come with 1TB OneDrive for one year, Office 365 personal for one year and 60 Skype minutes per month for chatting with friends and family.
  
The HP Stream 11 and Stream 13 is priced at $199.99 and $299.99 accordingly and will hit the market on October 18. The Stream 11 Pro G2 is priced at $249 and expected to be available on October 12.
