Lenovo India launches Tab 2 A7-20 tablet for Rs. 5,499

Lenovo India has launced the Tab 2 A7-20, an entry-level Android tablet in India. The tablet is the sucessor to the Tab 2 A7-10, which was launched in January for Rs. 4,999.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20 features 7-inch IPS display offering a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Inside there is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the coming months.

There is 2-megapixel camera on the back and a 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera. It also has front-facing speakers powered by Dolby Audio. Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB. USB OTG is also supported. It is fueled by a 3450mAh battery and comes in Ebony Black color.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20 is priced at Rs. 5,499 and is available at a discounted price of Rs. 5,001 on Snapdeal.
