Lenovo Yoga 900 covertible notebook announced, packs Skylake power
Lenovo introduced Yoga 900, a Windows 10 convertible notebook. It ditches the Intel Core M processor and now has the powerful Skylake processor, and also a improved battery life.
The Yoga offers four usage modes- laptop, stand, tent, tablet, letting users work, watch or play in a variety of scenarios. It has a watchband hinge made of more than 800 intricately woven, individual pieces, which provides a smoother rotation, allowing users to flip and fold the Yoga 900 into different modes.
Lenovo Yoga 900 features 13.3-inch QHD+ (3200 x 1800 pixels) 10-point multi-touch IPS display and is equipped with sixth gen Intel core i5 or Core i7 processor with Intel HD 520 graphics. It can be configured with 8GB or 16GB LP DDR3L RAM and 256GB or 512GB Samsung SSD for storage.
It includes two USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type C 3.0 port with video-out support, SDXC card reader, headset jack, and has support for WiFi 802.11a/c and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless connectivity. Also on-board is a 1MP 720p HD CMOS webcam and JBL stereo speakers with Dolby DS 1.0. It comes with 66Whr battery which offers 10 hours of battery life.
It has a thickness of 14.9mm, weighs 1.3kg and comes in clementine orange, platinum silver and champagne gold colors.
The Lenovo Yoga 900 prices starts at $1,200, and is now available at Best Buy and on Lenovo's website.
