Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1161 and Canvas Laptab LT777 with Windows 10 launched
Micromax has forayed into the laptop market with the launch of Canvas Lapbook L1161 in India. In addition, Micromaz also unveiled Canvas Laptab LT777, a laptop-tablet convertible, successor to the Canvas Laptab which was announced back in April this year. Both the devices run Windows 10.
The Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1161 features 11.6-inch (1366 x 768 pixels) multi-touch IPS display and is equipped with 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor (burst up to 1.86GHz) clubbed with 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 32GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 64GB. The notebook comes with VGA front facing camera, Built-in keyboard with trackpad, dual-speakers, two USB 2.0 ports and HDMI port. For wireless connectivity there is WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. It is fueled by 5000mAH battery which is rated to deliver 11 hours of mixed usage.
Micromax's laptop-tablet hybrid, Canvas Laptab LT777 features 11.6-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) multi-touch IPS display and is powered by 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor (burst up to 1.86GHz) with 2GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 64GB. It is equipped with 2-megapixel front and rear camera. Connectivty options include 3G (via SIM slot), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB, USB 2.0 port and HDMI port. It is backed by 9000mAh battery which promises to deliver up to 10 hours of mixed usage.
The Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1161 is priced at Rs. 13,999 and will be available from October 9 from Snapdeal. The Micromax Canvas Laptab LT777 is priced at Rs. 17,999 and will be available from Amazon India from October 13.

Micromax aims to garner 10 percent market share in the next 12-18 months in the laptop market.
