Samsung Galaxy View tablet with 18.5.-inch display appears on GFXBench


Samsung teased a large screen tablet, dubbed Galaxy View (SM-T760) at its Keynote event in IFA last month. Now the tablet has appeared on GFXBenchmark database, that confirms the specs that was outed earlier.

As per the listing Samsung Galaxy View features 18.5-inch 1080p display and is equipped with 1.6GHz Octa-core Exynos 7850 processor with Mali T-720 GPU, 2GB RAM, 32GB on-board storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion. It sports a 2-megapixel front shooter and is fueled by 5700mAh battery.

The listing notes the rear-facing camera as 'not supported', but earlier rumors say that there is a 8-megapixel rear camera. The 18.4-inch tablet is expected to measure 451.8 x 275.8 x 11.9mm. The same tablet recently passed SIG and RRA certification. 

The also has a built-in kickstand, so it could be an entertainment tablet.  It is targeted to be used in living rooms, offices or schools, presumably as a coffee table. It

Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy View will be announced this October.
