China's QiKU to make its Indian debut with the Terra 808, Terra 810 by end of Nov 2015

Another Chinese smartphone manufacturer named QiKU has shown its interest in the Indian market. QiKU, a joint venture between Chinese Internet company Oihoo 360 and Coolpad will soon make its Indian debut with two smartphones- QiKU Terra 810 and QiKU Terra 808, by end of November 2015.

These devices were launched in China couple of weeks back and have been an instant hit with 35,000 units being sold in just 8 seconds. Both the smartphones offer top-of-the-line specifications, which is enough to tempt the Indian customers to get their hands on.

The QiKU Terra 810 features a 6-inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display and is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, further expandable via microSD card. It has two 13-megapixel rear cameras with a Sony IMX278 sensor and f/1.8 aperture. On the front sits an 8-megapixel shooter. It is fueled by 3700mAH battery, runs Android Lollipop based 360 OS and is equipped with a fingerprint sensor at the back just below the camera.

The QiKU Terra 808 comes with a 6-inch 1080p display and is powered by Snapdragon 808 processor aided by 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, which can be further expanded via microSD card. The rest of the specs are same as QiKU Terra 810.

Both the QiKU Terra 808 and Terra 810 has USB Type-C ports, supports fast charging, 4G LTE connectivity and Dual-SIM. The pricing details have not yet been revealed. But to get an idea about its pricing, the Terra 810 is priced at $314 (Rs. 21,000) in China, so we can expect the Indian pricing to be between Rs. 21,000 - Rs. 24,000.
