Xolo Era HD with 5-inch HD display, Android Lollipop 5.1 launched for Rs. 4,777

Xolo has launched a new variant of the entry-level Era smartphone dubbed Era HD. As the name suggests the new variant comes with a HD display instead of FWVGA. Plus the Era HD runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, rest of the specs remain unchanged.

The Xolo Era HD features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor paired with Mali-400 MP GPU and 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. For imaging there is 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. The dual-SIM phone supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. A 2,500mAh battery keeps the phone running, which promises to deliver 10 hours of talk-time and up to 556 hours of standby time.
