HTC One X9 with metal body gets certified in China

HTC recently launched the One A9, which borrowed its design heavily from the latest generation iPhones and the company is not shying away from releasing another phone inspired by iPhone's design. Chinese regulator TENAA has certified the HTC One X9, outing the specs and product shots of the device. Just like the One A9, the HTC One X9, design language is similar to that of the iPhone.

The HTC One X9 sports an aluminium unibody design and appears to have BoomSound front-facing speaker, capacitive touch buttons below the display, a textured power button on its side and an Nexus 6P like oblong-shaped rear camera housing with flash. The One X9 measures 153.2 x 75.9 x 7.9mm and weighs 174g.

As per TENAA listing, the HTC One X9 features 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 X 1080 pixels) display, 2.2GHz octa-core processor (Helio X 10 likely), 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB, 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. It runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, supports 4G LTE is fueled by a 3000mAh battery and will come in silver color. There could be a 3GB RAM / 32GB internal storage variant as well just like the One A9.

The HTC One X9 is rumored to be released some in Q1 2016, before HTC releases its 2016 flagship device, the One M10.
