With a 21-megapixel selfie camera, Meitu V4 ensures your trip to selfie heaven
Chinese brand Meitu, which many of you are hearing for the first time, has launched V4, a selfie-centric smartphone. The main highlight of the Meitu V4 is its front facing camera, which could put some of the selfie focused smartphone like HTC Desire Eye and Sony Xperia C3 to shame, at least on paper.
The Meitu V4 sports a 21-megapixel front facing camera, to ensure your trip to selfie heaven. The front facing camera features f/2.2 aperture with Shestilinzovaya optics and sapphire protection, and a 78-degree wide-angle lens that should come handy for wider selfies. The rear camera is also 21-megapixel with a dual-tone LED flash and Shestilinzovaya optics with sapphire protection.
The Meitu V4 has an appealing hexgon shaped design, which the brand has dubbed 'Double V'. The top and bottom are made of metals. It has a 5-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and is equipped with an 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor aided by PowerVR G6200 GPU, 3GB RAM along with 64GB inbuilt storage. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with MeiOS 2.5 on top, supports 4G LTE connectivity and is fueled by 2650mAh battery
The Meitu V4 comes in White w/ Pink accents, Turquoise and Pink colors, and is priced at CNY 3,499 ($550 | Rs. 36,000).
