HP Falcon based on Windows 10 Mobile expected in 2016

Known for its wide range of printers and PCs, Hewlett-Packard (HP) is reported to unveil a Windows 10 Mobile smartphone, what is being called the HP Falcon during MWC trade show in Barcelona, Spain in February 2016.

The HP Falcon is rumored to feature 5.8-inch QHD display, however, AdDuplex reported that they detected the HP Falcon with a 5.4-inch 768 x 1024 pixels display, so it is not clear what is the screen size. It will be powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC with Adreno 530 GPU, 2GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Camera-wise, it will be equipped with 20-megapixel rear camera and 12-megapixel front camera. It will support NFC. The specifications were revealed by a benchmark listing.

The report claims that HP Falcon will present Windows Phone fans with more choices and may force Microsoft to go ahead with its Surface smartphone. It further adds that HP is still testing the phone and may decide not to launch it if it feels there is no market for the smartphone.
