Lava Iris X10 with 3GB RAM, 4G LTE launched for Rs. 11,500
Lava has announced a new addition to its 4G enable smartphone portfolio with the launch of Iris X10. This is the third Lava smartphone to boast 4G LTE connectivity after Iris X5 4G and Pixel V2 Android One Phone. The Iris X10 supports both TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE 4G bands in India.
The Lava Iris X10 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside there is a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core processor aided by 3GB RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Star OS UI on top and the company has promised an upgrade to Android Marshmallow.
For imaging, it sports 13-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens. It can record 1080p videos as well. The camera app is equipped with features like PIP (Picture in Picture) and Live Photos. For selfies there is a 5-megapixel shooter with an 84-degree wide angle lens.
Apart from 4G LTE, there is support for Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is fueled by a 2900mAH battery. The device weighs 133g, is 8mm thick and comes in Icy White and Royal Black colors.
Priced at Rs. 11,500, the Lava Iris X10 will be available via major brick and mortar retail stores, multi brand outlets and on e-commerce portals.
