Lenovo ideapad 710S with 13-inch display announced, coming in July for $799 and up
Lenovo has introduced the ideapad 710S laptop, which is almost like the Yoga 900 minus the watchband hinge. It weighs 1.16kg and is slim at 12.7mm making the 710S a light productivity machine.
The Lenovo ideapad 710s feature 13-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and can be configured with up to Intel's latest 6th generation Core i7 CPU with Integrated Intel or Intel Iris graphics. It supports up to 8GB LPDDR3 RAM and accommodate up to 256GB PCIe SSD storage, and runs Windows 10.
For connectivity there is WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0, microHDMI out port and 2 x USB 3.0 port (1 with always-on charging). It comes with a 4 in 1 card reader, JBL Stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium technology and 720p webcam. It promises battery life of up to 8 hours.
The ideapad 710S prices start at $799 (Rs. 53,000) and will be made available in July 2016.
