Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptop gets Skylake processor
Lenovo has unveiled a refreshed version of ThinkPad X1 Carbon business class laptop. It has a carbon fiber reinforced case which makes the laptop both sturdy and light, and can withstand temperatures as cold as -4 degrees Fahrenheit or as hot as 140 degrees.
The 2016 model of ThinkPad X1 Carbon sports a 14-inch display and comes with either 1080p Full HD resolution or QHD 2560 x 1400 resolution with touch display. It is equipped with 6th generation Intel Skylake Core i7 processor and comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD storage.
Connectivity features include LTE-Advanced, 3 x USB 3.0 ports, a OneLink+ (RJ45) port, Mini DisplayPort, HDMI port and microSD card slot. The 52Whr battery inside offers 11 hours of life.
It runs Windows 10.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 prices start at $1299 and will be available in February.
