Micromax Canvas Fantabulet with 6.98-inch display launched for Rs. 7,499
Micromax has launched the Canvas Fantabulet, a 6.98-inch phablet. The brand claims that the Fantablet is the world's largest smartphone with a tablet-grade display.
The Micromax Canvas Fantabulet sports a 6.98-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8382W/M processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It is equipped with 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front snapper.
The dual-SIM phablet runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery. It comes with dual box speakers which are powered by DTS technology. Some of the pre-loaded app include Eros Now, Saavn, Gaana, and Kindle.
The Micromax Canvas Fantabulet (Chrome Gold color) is priced at Rs. 7,499 will be exclusively available on Flipkart. It comes bundled with a free 90-day subscription of Saavn Pro. Micromax's phablet will be competing against the high-priced 6.8-inch Lenovo Phab Plus priced at Rs. 20,990.
