Polaroid's Snap+ is an instant camera and a printer

Instant film and camera maker Polaroid announced the Snap+ instant print camera. It features a 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD for framing shots and navigating menu, and 13-megapixel CMOS sensor, that shoots full 1080p video. It also supports micro SD card (up to 128GB) for storing all the images.

It has Bluetooth support so that you can use the Polaroid print app available on iOS and Android to connect to and print from smartphones and tablets. You can use creative filters, digital stickers, effects and more using the app. For selfie shooters, the camera comes with a self-timer and pop-up mirror with color, black & white and sepia color modes.

The camera also allows users queue photos so that it can be taken simultaneously as photos print. The integrated printer uses Zink's Zero Ink Printing Techology that offers full color 2 x 3 inch prints automatically when photo is captured. Zink’s printing technology works by activating heat activated embedded color dye crystals in the paper. The whole process is ink free and smudge free. Zink’s photo paper has an adhesive back, making it a sticker if needed.

The Polaroid Snap+ will be released sometime in Q4 2016. Pricing is not known.
