Samsung Taiwan introduces Galaxy Tab E 8.0 with 4G LTE, voice calling
Samsung has added a new tablet to its Galaxy Tab range with the launch of Galaxy Tab E 8.0 in Taiwan. The tablet runs Android 5.1 and lollipop and comes with voice-calling functionalities. It also has an IR blaster, which can be used to controlled electronic devices like TV, projectors and electric fans
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features an 8-inch 1280 x 800 TFT display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU, 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be increased with microSD card.
The tablet is equipped with 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front the tablet supports 4G LTE, 3G, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GDR, micro USB 2.0 and A-GPS. .The tablet is fueled by a massive 5000mAh battery, which promises to deliver 12 hours of video playback, 14 hours of web-browsing on WiFi.
It also comes with ‘Kids Time Plus’ app that provides educational and entertainment content suited for kids.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is priced at TWD 8990 ($270 | Rs. 18,000) and is now available to buy in Taiwan. There's no word on global availability.
