Snapdragon 617 SoC gets Windows 10 Mobile Continuum for Phones support

Microsoft has added Qualcomm's Snapdragon 617 (MS8952) processor to the list of processors supporting Continuum for phones. This is no surprise, as the recently launched NuAns Neo was equipped with Snapdragon 617 and it supported Continuum too.

The two other processor supporting this feature are the high-end Snapdragon 808 and Snapdragon 810. Other requirements for a phone to support Continuum feature include- 720p display with 2GB RAM or 1080p display with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

Microsoft's 'Continuum for phones' feature allows your Windows 10 phones to function like a Windows 10 PC on any external display. Microsoft's Lumia 950 and 950 XL and Acer's Jade Primo are the other smartphones that comes with Continuum for phones support.
