LG Stylus 2 gets an improved Stylus Pen with nano-coated tip
Soon after introducing, the new X series smartphone (X Screen & X Cam), LG has announced the successor of the G4 Stylus, the Stylus 2 that will also be showcased at MWC 2016, Barcelona.
As the name suggests, the LG Stylus 2 comes with a Stylus pen, that has a nano-coated tip instead of the previous rubber tip, that promises more accuracy. It feature proprietary functions such as Pen Pop which shows a pop-menu when the stylus is removed to offer shortcuts to Pop Memo and Pop Scanner. Anoother feature is Pen Kepper to prevent the stylus from being misplaced by displaying a pop-up message when the phone is detected as being in motion when the stylus bay is empty.
Spec-wise, the LG Stylus 2 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS in-cell touch display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB RAM (2GB RAM in Korea) and 16GB internal storage, which can be increased via microSD card. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
For photography, there is 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel front camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC (optional). It is fueled by 3000mAh battery.
The LG Stylus 2 (Titan, White and Brown colors) will roll out starting from Korea in March, followed by other market in the U.S, Europe and Asia. The pricing is yet to be revealed.
