Sony NW-A25 Walkman launched in India for Rs. 13,990
Sony India has launched its latest compact Walkman, the NW-A25, with Hi-Res digital noise canceling feature. Priced at Rs. 13,990, the NW-A25 comes in Black / Pink / Red / Blue / Yellow and will be available via online and offline channels in the country.
The Sony Walkman NW-A25HN has a 2.2-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) TFT color LCD display and comes with 16GB internal storage. There is also also microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, FM Radio and USB 2.0 for charging and data transfers.
It supports high-resolution audio formats of up to 24bit/192kHz, and the supported audio formats include Mp3, WAV, AIFF, WMA, AAC, HE-AAC, Flac and Apple Lossless. Sony says that the audio player is powered by LDAC, that offers high-quality wireless audio over Bluetooth. It is also equipped with upscaling and encoding technologies meant to improve sound quality, such as DSEE-HX and ClearAudio+, which work with theWalkman's S-Master HX digital amplifier.
The Walkman promises up to 50 hours of Mp3 playback and up to 30 hours of high-resolution playback. You will also be able to view videos and pictures on it.
