The battery-centric Huawei Y6 Pro is the international variant of Enjoy5


Huawei has announced the international variant of the battery-centric Enjoy5 dubbed, the Y6 Pro. The handset sports a premium metal frame with a textured back panel, which the brand is calling "water-ripple" design. The specs of Y6 Pro are similar to the Enjoy5. It is worth noting that the Y6 Pro/Enjoy5 was launched in Africa as G Power.

Just like the Enjoy5, the plus point of Y6 Pro is its massive 4000mAh battery, that promises 2 days of heavy use, 39 hours of talk time and 15 hours of data use. It comes with Power Saving Technology, to the extend the phone's life up to 24 hours with just 10% charge. The phone also doubles as a power bank for charging other mobile devices via OTG.

As for the other specs, the Huawei Y6 Pro features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be increased via microSD card. For imaging, there is 13-megapixel rear camera (w/ LED flash) and 5-megapixel front snapper. The dual SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The Huawei Y6 Pro comes in Gold / White / Grey colors, and the details about pricing and availability is yet to be revealed.
