Doogee Y300, a $100 phone with 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, Android Marshmallow on-board


Doogee, a little known Chinese smartphone manufacturer has outed a mid-range smartphone called the Doogee Y300. The phone measures 6.6mm around the waist, has metal frame around its sides, and Gorilla Glass on the front and back  for protection from drops and scratches. It runs the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

The Doogee Y300 sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D glass over it and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor w/ Mali T720 GPU, along with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be further increased up to 32GB via microSD card.

It is equipped with 8-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX219 sensor, LED flash, and 5-megapixel front snapper. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. USB OTG is also supported. It is fueled by 2200mAh battery and houses dual-SIM slot.

The Doogee Y300 is priced at $99.99 and is available for purchase from Popmall (currently out of stock). It comes in White, Black and Champagne color options. It is also available at Gearbest for $129.99.
