Google will let you try an Android game directly from mobile search results
Google has announced a number of new features for Play Games, one of the highlight is an interactive ad, dubbed Search Trial Run Ads.
This feature lets users to try out games for a few minutes without installing them on your Android device first. The new feature is an extension of app streaming that was announced last year, that allowed users to test an app, without installing them first.
To use the new feature, users will have to search for a game title in the search bar, and in the result they will see a "Try Now" button, and by simply clicking it the game will begin as a free trail, that will last up to 10 miniutes. The new feature will start rolling out within the next few weeks. Note that, this feature can be accessed only when your device is connected to Internet using WiFi.
Google also announced the launch of Indie Corner, on Google Play, that will show the best indie games. Also announced was a feature called Video Recording API, that will allow developers to easily add video recording capability on the app, and allow users to share or stream the videos with their friends or on YouTube.
Google also said that it is working on Potrait Video Ads, a feature that will allow game developers to show video ads in Potrait mode. All of the above mentioned features will roll out in the coming weeks.
