Samsung quitely outs 7-inch Galaxy Tab A 2016

Samsung has quitely introduced the Galaxy Tab A 2016 tablet by listing it on the company's German website. The tablet will be called as Tab A for the European markets and in the U.S as Galaxy Tab E.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 sports a 7-inch WXGA (1280x800 pixels) TFT display and is equipped with 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128GB). It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The tablet has 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. For connectivity it supports WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS + GLONASS. It is fueled by 4000mAh battery which promises up to 9 hours of video playback, or up to 100 hours of music playback. It also includes Kids mode.

The Galaxy Tab A 2016 is 8.7mm thick, weighs 283g and comes in Black and White color options. There are no details on the pricing and availability, but is listed with some online retailers with a price tag of 169 Euros (Rs. 13,000).
