Giada outs i80 mini PC with Skylake processor


Giada has launched a new barebone mini PC, the Giada i80 equipped with Intel's Skylake processor. It measures 4.6″ x 4.4″ x 1.9″. Since this a barebone PC, you'll have to supply your own storage, memory and operating system.

The Giada i80 comes in two different models with different CPU - Intel Core i3-6100U processor (i80-B3000) and Core i5-6200U chip (i80-B5000). Both models have support for up to 16GB DDR3L-1600 RAM (w/ two SODIMM slots). For storage they support 2.5-inch and mini PCIe/mSATA. It can run Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10.

The mini PC includes 4 x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI & mini DisplayPort outputs with support for up to 4K displays, Gigabit Ethernet, half length mini PCIe slot for wireless card, 3.5mmheadset jack, IR receiver, and card reader.

The Giada i80 based model - i80-B3000 is priced at Australian $599 ($456) (Giada Australia store). There is no word on availability details.
