Meizu Pro 6 with deca-core Helio X25 SoC, 4GB RAM announced


Meizu has officially announced it Pro series flagship, the Pro 6 in China. The Pro 6 sports a full metal boady and has mTouch 2.1 home button, that doubles as fingerprint sensor, and can unlcok the phone in just 0.2 seconds. It also comes with NXP's SmartPA chip and Cirrus Logic CS43L36 DAC for enhanced sound experience.

The Meizu Pro 6 features a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 Super AMOLD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection and 3D Press, Meizu's version of Apple's 3D Touch, that perceives different levels of pressure on the screen. It is powered by MediaTek's deca-core Helio X25 64-bit processor aided by Mali T880 GPUI and 4GB RAM. On-board storage is 32GB/64GB (two inbuilt storage variants), which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, the Pro 6 gets 21.6-megapixel rear camera with Ring dual-tone LED flash (10x), Laser Auto Focus, PDAF, 6P lenses, f/2.2 aperture and 4K video recording. On the front there is 5-megapixel camera for clicking selfies and video calling.

The dual-SIM phone runs Flyme OS 5.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB 3.1 Type-C connectivity. It is fueled by 2560mAh battery that supports mCharge 3.0 fast charging technology.

The Meizu Pro 6 32GB model is priced at CNY 2499 ($385 | Rs. 25,700), and the 64GB model costs CNY 2799 ($430 | Rs. 28,800). It is now available for order in China, and will go on sale starting from April 23.
