Micromax Canvas 6, Canvas 6 Pro launched
Micromax at its 'Guts to Charge' event in Gurgaon, New Delhi announced two new Canvas series smartphone, the Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro. The Canvas 6 is the brands first smartphone to come with a fingerprint sensor that is located at the back and also sports a metal body.
Both the Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro packs near-to-top end specs and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Around UI on top. They come with Around suite of services, which offers cabs, food delivery, shopping, hotel and flight services on the go.
The Micromax Canvas 6 features 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and is powered by an unspecified octa-core MediaTek processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt expandable storage. For photography, its gets a 13-megapixel rear camera w/ LED flash, PDAF, and 8-megapixel front snapper. The dual-SIM phone supports 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity, and is fueled by a 3000mAh battery.
The Canvas 6 Pro comes with 2GHZ octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor w/ PowerVR G6200 GPU, 4GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt expandable storage and 5-megapixel front camera. The rest of the specs are identical to Canvas 6. Unfortunately, it does not have a fingerprint sensor.
The Micromax Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro are priced at Rs. 13,999 each, and will be available for pre-order from the company website starting today. They comes in just Black color only.
