Moto 360 Sport Android Wear smartwatch launched in India for Rs. 19,999


Motorola, after launching the Moto 360 2nd gen smartwatch in India in December last year, has now launched the  Moto 360 Sport in the country. Priced at Rs. 19,999, the Moto 360 Sport w/ Black silicon strap is now exclusively available from Flipkart.

The Moto 360 Sport is aimed at fitness enthusiasts and features a heart rate monitor and built-in GPS. The GPS works seamlessly with the Moto Body app to track fintness activities including distance traveled, pace, lap times and more.

Specwise, Moto 360 Sport features a 1.37-inch (360 x 325 pixels) AnyLight Hybrid display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The AnyLight Hybrid display makes the LCD screen more readable indoors and outdoors. The smartwatch comes with 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, Bluetooth 4.0 and dual-microphones. Sensors on board include barometric altimeter, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor and vibration/haptics engine.

The smartwatch is fueled by 300mAh battery, which will last up to a full day with Ambient display on, as per the brand. It sports a sweat resistant silicon band, runs Android Wear, and is water resistant thanks to the IP67 rating. Users can also sync music from Google Play Music, to listen to without requiring their smartphone.
