Moto G Turbo Virat Kohli edition launched in India


PrivyPlex, a Singapore beased fan-engagement company has launched Moto G Turbo Virat Kohli Edition in India. The phone is similar to the original Moto G Turbo, however it comes with the 'Virat emblem' (at the back).

The Moto G Turbo Virat Kohli Edition is bundled as a part of Virat Fanbox, which comes with a one year subscription to Virat FanBox Club. The bundle also includes a welcome note and a miniature bat signed by Virat Kohli. The Virat FanBox Club membership provides access to information and updates related to Virat Kohli, and a chance to meet the cricketer in real-life at special events, live chat via an app, as well as special offers offers on products and services.


Speaking at the launch, Virat Kohli said, "As a cricketer, I feel genuinely blessed with all the love and support I get from my fans. The Virat FanBox is my personal endeavour to get closer to my fans than ever before; to connect and chat with them online and meet them in real life. I am excited and looking forward to engaging and interacting with the Virat FanBox club members via the app." 

The Moto G Turbo Virat Kohli Edition has been priced at Rs. 16,999, and will be exclusively available on Flipkart in the first week of May.

To recap, the Moto G Turbo Edition was launched in India for Rs. 14,499, but is currently available for Rs. 12,4999. The specs include a 5-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt expandable storage, 13MP/5MP camera, 4G LTE, IPX7 certification (for water and dust resistance) and 2470mAh battery. It runs Android Marshmallow and supports TurboPower Charge.
