PiPO packs Windows 10 PC inside a folding keyboard


Chinese manufacturer PiPO has introduced an interesting Windows 10 PC that has a form factor of keyboard. The PiPO KB2 is a tiny PC that crams the hardware inside a foldable keyboard case that you can fold for better portability, and put inside your bag or purse and carry it around easily.

Inside there is an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 (Cherry Trail processor), 2GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. It houses a USB 3.0 port, a micro USB port, a USB 2.0 port, an audio jack and an HDMI port to connect to TV or monitor. For wireless connectivity it supports 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth. It is backed by 2500mAh battery.

There is another Keyboard PC, the PiPO KB1, with the hardware inside a normal keyboard. It is a bit larger and has room for more hardware and extra ports, and also has a built-in trackpad. The PiPo KB1 comes in two models, the first model has an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 (Cheryy Trail processor), 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB on-board storage. The second model features Intel Atom Z3736F/Z3735F (Bay Trail) processor with 2GB RAM.


Both models come with 2 x USB 2.0, RJ-45 Ethernet port, microSD card slot, a VGA connector and an HDMI port for connecting to TV or monitor. It supports 802.11ac WiFi (including WiDi support) for wireless connectivity and comes with dual-stereo speakers, a built-in touchpad and a 6000mAh battery.

The PiPO KB1 is already available for purchase in China, while the KB2 foldable mini-keyboard PC is expected to go on sale later this year.
