BlackBerry Hub-like Samsung Focus reportedly coming with Galaxy Note 6


Samsung is reportedly working on a BlackBerry Hub type feature for its smartphone. For those unaware, BlackBerry Hub, one one of the best features of BlackBerry device. The hub lets users to manage all of their conversations from social media, texts, emails and calls in one place. Samsung's iteration of BlackBerry Hub will be called 'Focus' and the feature is expected to debut with Galaxy Note6.

Samsung Focus will integrate functions like email, calendar, contacts and memos. One of the main highlight will be aggregation of emails offerings options to view and respond to emails from various accounts, similar to Inbox by Google.

The main screen of Focus will show all the important events, with a list of your plans for the day, coming days as well as days already gone by. You'll also be able to add calendar entries and manage invite and create memos to remind task that needs to be complete. There will also be a dedicated contact page that will show emails, messages and calendar invites from a particular contact, with an option to mark as priority and set priority notifications.

The report mentions that Samsung Focus will have a clean and modern interface, but the final version could get a design change. It is also expected to be made available to existing Samsung devices after the launch of Galaxy Note 6.
