Huawei G9 Lite gets official in China
Huawei has introduced the G9 Lite in China, which resembles the company's flagship P9 very much on appearance. The G9 Lite is said to be a re-branded P9 Lite and notably the specs are quite identical to the P9 Lite as well.
The Huawei G9 Lite has a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 2GHz octa-core Kirin 650 SoC w/ Mali 830 GPU or Snapdragon 617 SoC w/ Adreno 405 GPU backed by 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).
The camera department gets 13-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE (VoLTE included), 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery. It runs Andoird 6.0 Marshmallow based EMUI 4.1 on top and also has a fingerprint scanner on the back.
The Huawei G9 Lite is priced at CNY 1599 ($245 | Rs. 16,400) for the Kirin 650 SoC variant and CNY 1699 ($260 | Rs. 17,500) for Snapdragon 617 SoC model. The G9 Lite is now available for order in China and will go on sale from May 13.
