OnePlus 3 with 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 820 SoC shows up at TENAA


OnePlus' upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 3 has been certified by China's telecom authority TENAA, outing specifications and images. Most of the previously rumored phone design and specs are confirmed by TENAA.

Design-wise, the OnePlus 3 looks similar to HTC phones, with the square shaped camera and antenna placement on the back, while the front design is similar to OnePlus One. It's worth noting that the OnePlus 3 seen in TENAA images, is similar to the press renders that surfaced earlier this month. The handset sports a full metal body, that measures 152.6 x 74.6 x 7.3mm and weighs 160g. It will come in Black, Gold and Silver Gray color options.

According to TENAA, the OnePlus 3 will come with 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, 4G LTE, USB Type-C, NFC and 3000mAh battery. It will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The OnePlus 3 is also rumored to come in 6GB RAM variant as well.

The OnePlus 3 will be announced in a VR event similar to the OnePlus 2, and OnePlus is giving out Loop VR headset for free (Re. 1 in India, sale on June 3, June 7) to view the event. If rumors are to be believed, the OnePlus 3 will launch on June 14.
