DataWind Droidsurfer 7DC+, 3G7+ Android 2-in-1 netbooks launched


India's top tablet manufacturer DataWind, also known for its Aakash tablet and UbiSlate tablets has launched its first Android hybrid hybrid tablets dubbed Droidsurfer Netbook 7DC+ and 3G7+. The tablet comes with detachable Bluetooth keyboard, which allows them to be used as a netbook. DataWind claims that these are the most affordable netbooks in India.

The DataWind 7DC+ and 3G7+ offers the same set of specs, except for the connectivity options. The Droidsurfer 7DC+ supports only 2G, while the 3G7+ support 3G connectivity. To take advantage of the cellular data connectivity, they also come bundled with unlimited free internet access on the Reliance Communications network.

Both are 7-inch Android 4.4.2 KitKat tablets equipped with dual-core Cortex A7 processor, 32GB internal storage, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP VGA front camera and supports WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity.

The DataWind Droidsurfer 7DC+ has been priced at Rs. 3,999, while the Droidsurfer 3G7+ costs Rs. 4,999, and will be available via major brick-and-mortar stores and e-commerce portals in the country.
