LYF Wind 5 with 5-inch display, 4G VoLTE launched for Rs. 6,599

Reliance retail sub-brand LYF after releasing the Flame 6 smartphone for Rs. 3,999, has now launched Wind 5. Similar to LYF's previous devices, the Wind 5 offer 4G LTE w/ VoLTE support for HD voice calling.

The LYF Wind 5 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor paired with Mali T720 GPU and 1GB RAM, an comes with 8GB inbuilt storage, with microSD card support for storage expansion.

The camera department gets 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera. Some of the camera features include face detection, auto scene detection, time-lapse mode, video snapshot, smile shot, and gesture capture. 

The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE (w/ VoLTE), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2000mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 6.5 hours of talk time and up to 140 hours of standby time on 4G network. 

The LYF Wind 6 is priced at Rs. 6,599 and will be available across India through all channels in Black or White hues.
