Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus lands in the U.S on July 12


Motorola US has started taking pre-orders for the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus, which will be released on July 12. The Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus will be available from Motorola.com, Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, Sam's Club and Wallmart. Republic Wireless will also see both the phone, starting July 28.

They will be offered unlocked and will work on all major US carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. Customers who pre-order or purchase any of the two smartphones from Best Buy will receive a gift card worth $50. The offer will last until July 30.

Interestingly the Moto G4 Plus high-end model that will be available in the U.S offers 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, while in India the same model comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

The Moto G4 16GB variant costs $199.99 and $299.99 for the 32GB variants. The Moto G4 Plys 16GB model costs $249.99, while the 64GB model will be up for grabs for $299. Note that, the Moto G4 Plus 64GB storage model offer 4GB RAM, while the other three comes with just 2GB. U.S customers will also be able to customize the Moto G4 series via Moto Maker, which will let you choose between a variety of frontm ear and accent color.

The Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus comes with 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 617 SoC, 4G LTE, 5MP front camera, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and 3000mAh battery. Apart from storage and RAM, the differences between Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus is that the Moto G4 comes with 13MP rear camera, while the Moto G4 Plus comes with 16MP rear camera and Fingerprint scanner.
